Teach, Train, Treat
Mondays Hope Health Center
Our vision is to build a health center in Mpigi, Uganda,Africa.
In a ten square mile radius, there are 65,000 people that are lacking quality health care.
In addition to a health center, we are launching a program training local people in sustainable agriculture, teaching methods of growing food, both for farms and for homesteads.
We want to see people thriving and healthy, and give opportunities for employment.
The plan is to start with a Level IIl Health Center. Eventually, it will include in-patient care. We will offer international level care, at a reduced affordable cost.
We also plan to build an open air chapel, where people are free to go to and pray.
We will have monthly community trainings on disease prevention, hygiene & nutrition, as well as have eye and dental clinics once a month.
The longer term plan is to then incorporate a nurses training school. This would also generate income.
Our goal is to become completely self sustaining. We plan to buy additional land and further our agricultural project to raise crops such as coffee, bananas, vanilla and sweet potatoes, both for sale, and for feeding our staff, in order to sustain the health center.
We are hoping to have our health center operational in 2025.
We currently have our 501c3 status in the US and NGO (non-government organization) permit in Uganda.
Our goal is complete transparency, authenticity and accountability. Our vision is simple, peaceful and elegant. A place where people can heal, and help ease the suffering of our fellow humans.
We love what we do, it brings us alive, and we feel like we have found our calling for our next phase of life. We pray we can set it up to turn over to the next generation so it can continue for generations to come.
